Rugby: France In Hunt For Hat-Trick Of Titles
Classic France will aim for a hat-trick of titles when they begin the defence of their World Rugby Classic crown against Classic Eagles at the North Field, National Sports Centre, tomorrow [November 3].
France edged Argentina Legends 21-20 in a thrilling final last year and will hope to make it three titles in a row in the eight-team tournament, now in its 35th year.
France face the Eagles at 7 pm in the opening game of the tournament in pool A, while Classic Canada play Irish Legends in the later game in pool B at 8.30 pm.
On Saturday, Argentina Legends, who won the title three times in a row from 2017 to 2019, take on Italian Classic XV in pool B at 7 pm, while Lions Legends meet South Africa Rugby in pool C at 8.30 pm.
The Plate final and Classic final will be on Thursday, November 9.
