Ariel Re Donated $195,000 To Charity In 2023
Ariel Re, a global reinsurance business with offices in Bermuda, London, and Hong Kong, has announced it donated $195,000 to charities in 2023 – almost double the sum donated in 2022.
A spokesperson said, “The company assisted twenty-four charities through its Bermuda and London offices, including amounts given via tag days, sponsorships, and employee giving matching schemes.”
“Our staff in both the Bermuda and London offices have made amazing efforts again in 2023 to raise money for worthy causes,” said Veronica King, Chair of the Ariel Re Charity Committee. “Ariel Re prides itself on being a responsible corporate citizen and it makes me very proud that in 2023 we were again able to make a real impact in our local communities.”
The spokesperson said, “Ariel Re’s Bermuda office made significant donations to the Ronald McDonald House [New York], Beyond Rugby, the Transformational Living Centre, Waterstart, and the Coalition for the Protection of Children. Donations were also made to Big Brothers/Big Sisters, SCARS, the Reading Clinic, It Takes a Village Foundation, and Support Public Schools Bermuda.
“Notable donations from the London office included amounts given to Parkinsons UK, the MCA Trust, and Ardleigh Green school.”
