Video: Sunday Feb 11th “Good News” Spotlight

News that Somersfield Academy appointed Tanisha Edwards as its new Director of Student Life starting in September, Jamari Douglas and Kiwan Michael Anderson were named to Marcomms’ Most Influential list, Fiona Holmes earned the AFP Bermuda scholarship, and Jomeko Mallory earned his Red Seal certification were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, BELCO supported Northlands Primary School’s Odyssey Programme, three Bermudian women — Margaret Swift Thompson, Andrea Tompkins, and Lorene Phillips — were featured in the Voices Of The 21st Century book, archer Robin Selley set a record in Las Vegas, and Goslings was among the most “buzzed about” rums according to Rum Raiders.

Other good news stories included Kaden Hopkins winning the Most Combative Rider award, Kenni Thompson scoring for Bournemouth, Caitlyn Bobb being named Track Performer of the Week, Jaden Malpas and Bournemouth University notching a win, and Harry Twite scoring and being named Man of Match.
