BKA Celebrate Jr Racer Roman Wilkinson
The Bermuda Karting Association [BKA] has turned the spotlight on junior driver Roman Wilkinson, who received his Tag Junior class title at the recent awards ceremony at Café Lido at Elbow Beach.
Wilkinson led his class standings in the Rubis National Championships with 918 points, with Jonah Moniz second with 863, Lucas Flood third with 712, and Hunter Borland fourth with 662.
“Continuing with the BKA celebrations for the Rubis National Championships, we wish to take this time to congratulate all the BKA drivers and specifically celebrate the class champions for the 2023-24 season,” the BKA wrote on Facebook.
“We turn our focus to the Tag Junior class. These young racers have grown incredibly on and off the track, and we’re excited to see what the future holds folds for each of them.
“Roman started 38 races from which he managed 37 podiums, including 23 wins, and ended the season with 918 points, securing the championship. Congratulations, Roman!”
