Bermudian Footballers Join Thomas College
Bermudian footballers Isaiah Francis and Adio DeShield-Tankard have joined Thomas College’s men’s football programme for the upcoming season.
Isaiah Francis, a defender studying business administration, comes to Thomas College from the Berkeley Institute and plays for the Somerset Trojans.
“I chose Thomas College because it felt like the perfect home to start my college experience.”
Adio Deshield-Tankard, a midfielder studying business and liberal arts, also hails from the Berkeley Institute and plays domestically for North Village.
“I chose Thomas College because of the welcoming community and programmes that align with my future goals.”” Deshield-Tankard said.
Last season, the Thomas College team advanced to the quarter-finals of the North Atlantic Conference Championship.
They will kick off their new season with an exhibition match against Central Maine Community College on Friday, August 30, at Smith Field.
Thomas College is based in Waterville, Maine, the United States.
