IDA Bermuda Footballers Impress In Spain
Six IDA Bermuda footballers continue to impress while representing IDA València at the Surf Cup International tournament in Salou, Spain.
The IDA Valènica Royal Under-17, featuring Jah’Zion Taylor and Dakayo Leverock, have reached the Gold Championship game after a 1-1 draw with Brazilian side Atlético Minero in their final group game.
Meanwhile, the IDA Valènica Under-15, which includes Xavier Thomas-Bassett, Roman Wilkinson, Ibraheem Talbot, and Zydon Lightbourne-Furbert, will play in the Silver Championship quarter-final against the Elite Football Academy from Canada.
The under-15 side lost group games to Stoke City from England and Japanese outfit Sagan Tosu.
