Regan And Bascome Win Medals In Las Vegas
Open Mat Bermuda athletes Chris Regan and Lonnie Bascome won medals at the World IBJJF Jui-Jitsu No-Gi Championship in Las Vegas at the weekend.
Regan, the Open Mat head instructor, claimed silver in the superheavy black belt division; meanwhile, Bascome also secured silver in the lightweight brown belt category.
Jason McAlpine also represented Open Mat Bermuda in the middleweight brown belt division at the Vegas event, which ran from Thursday until Saturday [December 14].
