Hamilton Rotary Donates Gifts To Salvation Army
The Hamilton Rotary Club spread holiday joy by donating over 30 gifts to the Salvation Army for children in need, with the help of First Devonshire Brownies who assisted in wrapping the presents.
A spokesperson said, “The Hamilton Rotary Club, in its quest to serve above self and provide opportunities for those in need, donated over 30 gifts to the Salvation Army for children in need.
“Enthusiastic Rotarians purchased lovely gifts for babies, toddlers and every age category including teens. Rotarian Youth Director Beverly Daniels chaired the Rotary project and included First Devonshire Brownies who were working on their Charity Badges in gift wrapping.
“The girls completed a demo session on gift wrapping, then wrapped several gifts to present to Rotarian Beverly in time for the presentation to Salvation Army Organizer Mrs. Leeann Hollis. The girls were tickled pink to have had the opportunity to share in creating happiness for others. Rotary is harvesting a new sense of empathy in the youth.”
