Woman Seriously Injured In Collision In Paget
A woman has been transported to hospital after a collision in Paget.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:30pm Friday, 10th January 2025, a reported serious collision occurred in Paget.
“Details remain limited at this time. However, apparently a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle was involved, on Middle Road, near the junction with Manse Road.
“It is understood that the female motorcyclist was seriously injured and has been transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance.
“A medical update is anticipated in due course.
“Traffic diversions are currently in effect at the collision site and motorists are advised to expect delays, or take alternate routes if possible, until further notice.
“Another update will be provided when more information is available.”
Update: The police said, “The scene of this afternoon’s serious road traffic collision in Warwick has been processed and the roadway is now open to regular traffic flow.”
