Ball Hockey: Charlestown & Hyannisport Win
The 2025 Bermuda ball hockey inline season commenced with significant offensive output, as a total of 35 goals were scored across the two opening matches at the PCC Hockey Rink.
In the first game, the Charlestown Chiefs secured a narrow 7-6 victory over the Broome County Blades. James Amaral scored four goals for the Chiefs, with Ronnie Dzurus contributing a hat-trick and Shawn Mckee adding the seventh goal. For the Broome County Blades, Ryan Wilson recorded a hat-trick, while Josh Wilson, Matt Mcphail, and Brett Sheriffs each scored one goal.
The second match of the evening saw the Hyannisport Presidents defeat the Long Island Ducks 14-8. Alex Larouche led the Presidents with six goals. Rob Osborne and Ryan Bates each scored four goals for Hyannisport. Theo Caimassidis scored four goals for the Long Island Ducks, with Adam Mattatal and Iain Beaudoin each adding two goals.
