Sailing: Penruddocke & Kempe Begin ILCA
After a four-day weather delay, Bermuda’s Adriana Penruddocke and Sebastian Kempe commenced their competitions at the 2025 ILCA 6 women’s & ILCA 7 men’s world championships at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center in China.
Racing began for the ILCA 7 men’s and ILCA 6 women’s fleets under challenging conditions.
Sebastian Kempe completed two races in the men’s ILCA 7 fleet and currently ranks 99th overall with 63 points. His race finishes were 37th and 26th.
Adriana Penruddocke sailed three races in the ILCA 6 women’s fleet. She holds 51st position overall with 77 points, recording individual race finishes of 17th, 36th, and 22nd.
