Flag Invasion returns on July 27, with a Cup Match Edition at Fort St. Catherine, featuring music, performances, and cultural celebrations.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda’s most anticipated summer festival is back and bigger than ever. Flag Invasion, the island’s only outdoor festival of its kind, returns for its 11th annual edition on Sunday, July 27th, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the iconic Fort St. Catherine.
“This year, Flag Invasion introduces a special Cup Match Edition, encouraging patrons to represent not only their home country but also their Cup Match team. With a theme of “Wicket Chic,” attendees are invited to dress in fashion-forward, cricket-inspired looks that capture the spirit of Bermuda’s beloved holiday.
“The event features four unique stages spread across the historic venue, offering a choose-your-own-vibe experience:
- Patron Stage: A high-energy celebration of soca music from across the years.
- Hennessy Stage: Delivering the best in reggae, dancehall, hip hop, and R&B.
- Goslings Rum Stage: A nostalgic throwback to the golden era of Byron Lee and Tiger Bay, setting the tone for classic Cup Match vibes.
- The Observatory: A silent headphone party overlooking the fort, featuring open-format sets with stunning views.
“Flag Invasion 2025 is stacked with talent. The all-star local DJ lineup includes DJ Rusty G, DJ Mystro, Mista Genius, Jim Brown, Fresh Kidd, Fire Blacks & Zaydo, Dat Bie Dez, Rajan Bajan, D’General, and DJ Markie T. Joining them are international guest DJs Bloodline Franco and Brush1 from Jamaica appearing in Bermuda for the first time, DJ Shep Beats representing Barbados and the UK, and DJ Spice from Trinidad & Tobago by way of NYC.
“Live performances will feature some of Bermuda’s finest, including Fire Wayne, General Kaution, Ponaflex, Mr. Fotogenik, and Aalai.
