Lewis Wins 100M At Canadian Championships

Bermuda’s Jessica Lewis won the gold medal in the women’s 100-meter at the Canadian Track & Field Championships, posting a winning time of 16.63 seconds.

Lewis finished ahead of her training partner, Nandini Sharma, who claimed silver with a time of 17.00 seconds. Brooke Perepeluk captured the bronze with a time of 25.33 seconds.

Earlier in the day, Lewis dominated her preliminary heat with a time of 16.79 seconds, which was the fastest qualifying time overall. Sharma won the second heat in 17.29 seconds before her second-place finish in the final.
