Omar Hayward Plays In Opening Boccia Game
Omar Hayward played in his opening game of the BC1 male division at the World Boccia Americas Regional Championships in Cali, Colombia, yesterday [October 7].
Hayward, competing in pool A, was defeated 10-1 by Eduardo Reyes, of Mexico.
The Bermudian faces Roly Castro Nunez, of Peru, today.
Meanwhile, Yushae DeSilva-Andrade takes on Brazilian Andreza Oliveira today in pool A of the BC2 women’s division.
The individual competition runs until Friday.
