Smith, Stovell & Dalhousie Win Sailing Event
Bermudian sailors Ahzai Smith and Nicole Stovell played key roles in powering the Dalhousie University sailing team to a first-place finish at the Quebec Regional Championships, overcoming a severely condensed schedule due to weather conditions.
The regatta, hosted by McGill University in Montreal, was hampered when no racing was possible on the opening day due to a lack of wind. This placed greater pressure on competitors for the final day of the event.
The Dalhousie crew, featuring the contributions of Smith and Stovell, demonstrated focus and skill on the water to secure the overall victory in the regional championships.
