Bermuda Sailors Compete At Virginia Team Race
Bermuda’s collegiate sailors faced mixed results at the Aaron Szambecki Team Race in Virginia.
The Cross Regional Regatta, held at the Old Dominion University Sailing Center, featured 420 and FJ class boats and attracted programs including Georgetown, Stanford, and Navy.
Christian Ebbin, sailing for Tulane University, helped the Green Wave finish third overall with a 9-4 record.
Paul Rodrigues Jr. and Jordan Vieira, representing Eckerd College, ended the regatta in tenth place with a 3-9 record.
The event offered an early-season measure of team performance as the spring collegiate sailing schedule continues.
