Govt Officials Join Mothers On A Mission Event
Multiple government officials and MPs joined MOM Bermuda to support families affected by violence, with the group holding a motorcade this past weekend.
A Government spokesperson said, “Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Kim Wilkerson; Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors, Tinee Furbert; Pastor Leroy Bean and Senator Lindsay Simmons joined members of Mothers On A Mission [MOM Bermuda] on Saturday in support of families who have lost loved ones to violence.
“The event brought the community together to remember lives lost, support grieving families and reinforce the message that violence must never become normalised in Bermuda.
“The Government stands with the families affected by violence and recognises the importance of community action, healing and ensuring that those who have lost loved ones are never forgotten.”
