Alleged Burglar Now In Police Custody
The alleged burglar from this morning [Nov 4] has been arrested, and is now in Police custody. The suspect had spent much of the day in hospital after receiving injuries after allegedly being caught attempting to break into a home[s] in the area. “Don’t Steal in Loyal Hill”
This evening [Nov 4] a sheet flys on North Shore at the entrance to Loyal Hill saying “Don’t Steal in Loyal Hill,” an obvious reference to the incident earlier that saw an alleged burglar beaten by members of the public and carted away by ambulance. The Bermuda Weather Service says that “the forecast track of Tropical Storm Tomas, now a potential threat, is being closely monitored.” They say the closest point of approach to Bermuda within 72 hrs [3 days] is forecast to be 353 nautical miles to the SSW, at 5pm on Sunday November 7th. Small Residential Fire in Friswells Hill
