Man Assaulted On Golf Course
The 55-year-old property manager of a golf course was assaulted yesterday afternoon [Nov.13] after approaching men who were riding motocross bikes on the property.
After the manager confronted one of the riders, an altercation ensued and the manager received minor injuries, with his assailant being described as a black male about 20 years old, 6’2” tall and 200lbs with short hair.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:10pm on Sunday November 13th, Police received a report of an assault at a golf course in the South Road, Paget area.”
“It appears that around 2:50pm, the male property manager observed unknown men on the property, some riding motocross cycles. After confronting one of the motocross riders, an altercation ensued with one of the unknown men.”
“The manager, a 55 year old Paget resident received minor injuries as a result. His assailant is described as a black male about 20 years old, approximately 6’2” tall and 200lbs with short hair.”
“At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a black and white printed T-shirt and black pants. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone with any information should contact PC Rhoda Jones on 295-0011.”
No respect for anything – people, property… what kind of adults will these young men make and why do they keep acting up like this? They need to learn some manners and respect for other peoples belongings and hard work.

Gimme a break—these idiots need jail time. If they need something to do, then why don’t they race at Southside?? They’re just delinquents with serious problems—if they catch them, stay tuned,you are guaranteed to be reading their names in the paper over and over again for other crimes, until they hit the big time and go to the big house. The sooner they end up there, the better for the rest of us.

Jail time. It is private property so they should not be there. They want to do as they please. We cannot condone that type of conduct anywhere. If we do, and some sound like they want to, we will have anarchy. Then you will wonder how we got there and the liberal ones who talk all of this nonsense will not be found to help. Over the years there’s been much damage done to farm land around the island and on Port Royal Golf Course that I can remember.

they were probably all wearing dark visors….did I read it right that someone one actually said “other than assaulting the man”? got to be a joke….although the injured party is 55 years old and we seem to have no shortage of older men so what the hell assualt away…..
What?? This must be an error! Black men committing crimes?!?! Unheard of! My dear…. I thought they were all in church and being good parents at home with their children and working or trying to get employment or educating themselves rather than disobeying the law. I am so shocked. I guessed that’s what happens when you are oppressed in a country run by other black people with many many black business owners and opportunities and programs being formed to help you because you are ‘poor black men’.
BMC members understand that to ride their bikes anywhere othe than South Side Moto Park in not allowed and they risk losing their membership in doing so.
Anyone that has information should report them to the Police immediately and the Police should also contact the President of the BMC
Many times the owners are not members and use the cycles in an unauthorized manner creating a bad name for the BMC
These bikes are dangerous and could prove deadly if ridden by someone that does not have the proper gear or training
