Whoops! Popular Twitter Feed Mislabels Photo
Bermuda received some free promotion on a popular Twitter photo feed, with the one hitch being the photo highlighted actually isn’t Bermuda.
The Twitter account — Earth Pictures — has amassed some 435,000 followers by posting an array of photos highlighting some of the most beautiful places on earth.
Earth Pictures recently posted a photo captioned Bermuda, which has garnered almost 300 retweets, while 300 people have “favourited” the tweet.
Some people in the Twitterverse didn’t notice the error, with Bermuda receiving praise for “our” beauty, while others pointed out that Bermuda doesn’t have mountains – as seen in the background of the photo.
