Zoenique Williams Wins Silver In Puerto Rico
Racing at the Elite Caribbean Cycling Championship in Puerto Rico continued this weekend, with another Bermuda athlete, Zoenique Williams, earning a medal, and another finishing in a strong position, both following up on Nicole Mitchell’s bronze medal performance in the individual time trial on Saturday [Oct 11].
In the latest action, Zoenique Williams grabbed the silver medal in the women’s road race, effectively securing a spot for Bermuda at the 2015 Pan Am Games, while Nicole Mitchell finished in sixth, at the head of her group.
