Smith Finishes 11th In World Championships
Bermuda’s Tyrone Smith competed in the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham, England.
Smith — a three time Olympian and the Bermuda National Record Holder — competed in the Men’s Long Jump finished 11th. He had one legal jump in three attempts reaching 7.75m.
Juan Miguel Echevarria from Cuba won the event with a leap of 8.46m, Luvo Manyonga from South Africa was second leaping 8.44m and Marquis Dendy from United States of America was third with a leap of 8.42m.
