Minutes later Russell was able to double the Bermuda lead, and Bermuda took that 2 goal lead into the half-time break.

The second half saw the two teams battle hard, Trinidad looking for the break through and Bermuda constantly defending. Trinidad pulled a goal back 71 minutes into the match, as Che Benny scored to bringing the crowd back into the match and then two minutes later it was 2 – 2 as Trinidad fought back.

Building off his success minutes earlier, Benny sent a pass to Jaydon Prowell who scored, and during injury time, Trinidad’s Prowell was on hand to score the game winning goal.
