Court: Man Pleads Guilty To Sixteen Offences
Appearing in Magistrates Court today, a 51-year-old man pleaded guilty to over a dozen offences relating to stolen cheques and dishonestly obtaining money.
Colin Landy Smith pleaded guilty to sixteen offences involving cheque fraud and dishonestly obtaining some $4,500 by means of fraud.
The offences were committed between November 2016 and January 2017.
The offences to which Smith plead guilty included creating a false instrument, and using that false instrument to defraud.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo ordered that Smith return to Court for sentencing, with BARC and SIR reports being prepared in accordance with the Court’s order.
