Motorcyclist Crashes Into Parked Truck

[Updated] Emergency services responded to a collision tonight [Oct 26] involving a motorcycle and truck on Angle Street near Cedar Avenue.

We unofficially understand one person was injured and transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Traffic is being diverted away from the scene at this time.

Update Oct 27, 11.52am: A police spokesperson said, “Around 9:55pm Thursday, October 26th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported collision on Angle Street in the City of Hamilton, near the junction with Cedar Avenue.

“It appears that a motorcyclist struck a parked truck.

“The injured rider, believed to be a 34 year old Pembroke man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

“At last check earlier this morning [October 27th] he was recovering in stable condition on a general ward.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011. “
