College Students Take Part In Football Match
Some young players from the U17 National Academy Programme and the Footy STARS, whose team was made up of overseas college students and/or persons who play football overseas and were home for the holidays, came together on Saturday [Dec 29] for a friendly football match at the BFA field.
Minister of Labour, Community Affairs and Sports Lovitta Foggo attended the match and shared words of encouragement with the participants, saying she was “happy to be able to watch some good, clean football. The comradery demonstrated on the pitch should be commended.”
