Video: Sunday April 10th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Bermuda hosted an international track meet, Dage Minors placed 3rd in a world class field, Bermuda College students donated fish cakes, artist Gherdai Hassell is the first Bermudian to be featured in the Bienal de La Habana exhibition, and Dante Leverock served as an assistant for the Concacaf Nations League Draw were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Oliver Betschart claimed another win, this time at the Fort Sam Golf Course in San Antonio, Caitlin Conyers won a stage race in the Tour de Murrieta in California, David Patrick was named Sacramento State’s Head Coach, Caitlyn Bobb won the 200m at the Towson Invitational, Casey Truran’s team qualified for nationals, the Devonshire Parish Council is offering its fall 2022 scholarship, Bermuda players helped New England Surf win, Sakari Famous set a new school and Bermuda record in the high jump, and the Garden Club of Bermuda donated $10,000 towards the Eco-Schools programme operated by BUEI
