Maurice Pitt Dies In Car Accident In USA
[Updated] Maurice Pitt – the son of former Premier Dr Ewart Brown — has died in a car accident in Louisiana.
A statement on behalf of Dr Brown said, “Former Premier, Dr. the Hon. Ewart F. Brown, is mourning the loss of his son, Maurice Pitt, who sustained severe head injuries in a car accident in Louisiana Saturday night. Maurice’s mother, Maureen Pitt was visiting him and daughter Kesi at the time. Maurice was 40 years of age.”
Update: Opposition Leader Cole Simons said, “On behalf of the entire One Bermuda Alliance, we offer our sincere condolences to former Premier, Dr. Ewart Brown and to Ms Maureen Pitt on the death of their son, Mr. Maurice Pitt, who was killed in a fatal car accident in Louisiana on Saturday night . We extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the entire family and pray that God will give you the strength to get through this most difficult time.”
