News that BF&M will donate $150,000 to HOME, Clara Fay’s new book Mark of a Crescent Moon is now available, Kiwon Waldron was named Rookie of the Year, and BELCO’s kite poster competition winners were announced were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, athletes won medals at the Carifta Games, Bermudian brothers Nicholas Christopher and Jonathan Christopher were featured in a BroadwayWorld article, and the rescued seal ‘Northlands’ has been released back into the ocean.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the superyacht Wayfinder visiting the island, the PHC Good Friday Run/Walk & Fun Day, and the Gilbert Lamb Good Friday event.
In an effort to highlight some of positive news happening in our community, we supplement our standard morning and evening email newsletters with a special Sunday “Good News” email newsletter edition, and also produce a highlight video and article which strictly focuses on the positive news about Bermuda and Bermudians from the past week.
