Video: Sunday Dec 24th “Good News” Spotlight
News that Appleby Bermuda marked its 25th year of support for local charity STAR, 15 teachers finished the Lead Practitioner Programme, Bermuda HealthCare Services gave away 150 turkeys, and Teekay Corporation donated $15,000 to local charities were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Saundre “Dash” Simmons knocked out Tre Baker in a boxing match in North Carolina, Sam Williamson broke another swimming record, Nirobi Smith-Mills set a new national record in the 600 metre event, the Charity Christmas Tree event winners were announced, and CedarBridge launched an extended reality program.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the Bermuda National Library’s Kwanzaa celebration, Christmas lights on display around the island, and Brew Bermuda’s Santa Paws event.
