Football: Paget Lions Defeat Hamilton Parish
The Bermuda Football Association’s under 23 league resumed at the BAA Field, with the Paget Lions defeating Hamilton Parish 5 – 2.
Diaje Hart gave the Paget Lions the lead in the third minute and Hart then doubled the lead in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Aidan Peets pulled a goal back for Hamilton Parish, but two minutes later the Paget Lions’ two goal lead was restored when Blaiz Hall scored; they took that 3 – 1 lead to the break.
In the 67th minute, the Paget Lions went ahead 4 – 1 when Hart completed his hat trick, but in the 72nd minute Nasje Brockington pulled a goal back for Hamilton Parish. Hall scored his second goal of the game to make it a 5 – 2 final.
