Video: Sunday Aug 11th “Good News” Spotlight
News that BELCO awarded 20 scholarships, 25 students earned ABIC Education awards, Jovan Jordan-Whitter was appointed head tennis coach at the University of New England, and Bermuda’s U15 girls football team defeated Suriname, Cuba and the Cayman Islands were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, One Communications is set to sponsor a Harbour Night Kids Zone, Kole Hall scored in a Chorley preseason win, Bernews’ Cup Match website has been updated with over 1,000 photos, Robin Horsfield won a silver medal at the Caribbean Mountain Bike Championships, the BFA National Academy Award recipients were announced, and AirCare staff completed first aid and CPR training.
