Senior School Boys Six A Side Football Results
The Berkeley Institute clinched the Bermuda School Sports Federation Senior School Over-16 Boys Six-a-Side Tournament title, defeating defending champions Mount Saint Agnes Academy 1-0 in a hard-fought final.
A spokesperson said, “The game’s lone goal came within the first three minutes when Patrick Dill calmly scored past the outreached hands of the MSA goalkeeper. Both teams continued to press forward, but neither team could find the back of the net.
“Berkeley defeated Somersfield Academy 3-0 in the semi final. Somersfield scored an unfortunate own goal to give Berkeley the lead. Michari Tear-Deleon and Khari Sharrieff were also on target for Berkeley. Two second half goals from Sami Carolo and Justin Franco sealed MSA’s passage to the final with a 2-0 win over Saltus Grammar School.”
