[Updated] Hamilton Parish Council held its Scholarship Golf Tournament at Ocean View Golf Course on Saturday [September 6].
The tournament featured teams of four.
Among the prize winners were Kiera Fujimoto and Jonathan James [closest to the pin]; North Village [best-dressed team], and PwC – Solongo Gonchigsuren, Fujimoto, Jacob Rampel and James Strydon – [most honest team].
Update 11.17am: A spokesperson said, “The Hamilton Parish Council hosted its Scholarship Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Oceanview Golf Club.
“The prize winners were as follows: For Closest to the Pin [Open] 7, a gas voucher was awarded to Kiera Fujimoto. Closest to the Pin [Open] 9 went to Country Boy, a gas voucher, Closest to the Pin [Open] 11 to Jonathan James, a gas voucher, and Closest to the Pin [Open] 18 to Kiera Fujimoto, a gas voucher.
“The Best Dressed Team, winning four bottles of Mud House Wine, went to North Village, consisting of D. Sharrieff, Sam Trott, S. Smith, and R. Caines. The Most Honest Team, winning four bottles of Flip Flop Moscato, was PWC with a score of +13, represented by Solongo Gonchigsuren, Kiera Fujimoto, Jacob Rampel, and James Strydom. The fifth place team, scoring -4 and winning four sleeves of golf balls, included D. Sharrieff, Sam Trott, S. Smith, and R. Caines.
“The fourth place team, scoring -6 and winning four vouchers to Ocean View Golf Club, consisted of C. Dill Sr., C. Dill Jr., C. Trott, and K. Warner. The third place team, scoring -8 and winning four vouchers to Turtle Hill Golf Club, included Clark Trott, B. Gibbons, J. Bean, and Sin. Trott. The second place team, scoring -9 and winning four vouchers to Belmont Hills Golf Club, was made up of Chr. Spencer, L. Robinson, Twill Smith, and Roy Gibbons.
“Finally, the first place team, scoring -15 and winning 4 vouchers to Port Royal Golf Club along with four bottles of Ramon Bilbao Wine, consisted of A. James, D. Patterson, R. Brangman, and J. James.”
