The Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League featured a doubleheader at the PCC Hockey Rink, producing two decisive victories and a total of 17 goals scored. Hamilton Princess secured a 9-3 win over CG, and Alexandra Mosher defeated BDA Spirits 5-0.

Hamilton Princess 9, CG 3

The opening match saw Hamilton Princess dominate CG with a 9-3 scoreline. Jean-Michael Tremblay delivered a standout individual performance for Hamilton Princess, accounting for seven of the team’s nine goals.

Tremblay established a rapid lead in the first period, netting four goals. Mathew Benson added a fifth goal to give Hamilton Princess a commanding advantage at the intermission. Tremblay continued his offensive output in the second period, scoring two additional goals.

In the third period, CG registered a reply goal from Dallas Montgomery. However, Tremblay quickly added his seventh goal before Bill Calko netted the ninth goal for Hamilton Princess. CG closed the scoring with two late strikes from Montgomery [his second] and Pete Brodsky, but the effort was not enough to overcome the early deficit created by Tremblay’s performance.

Alexandra Mosher 5, BDA Spirits 0

In the evening’s second contest, Alexandra Mosher secured a 5-0 shutout victory against BDA Spirits.

Alexandra Mosher established the win with a blistering first-period effort that saw five different players find the net. Goals were scored by Moad Fahmi, Brett Sherriffs, Ian Beaudoin, Adam Mattatall, and Ronnie Dzurus.

The first-period offensive surge proved to be the decisive action, as Alexandra Mosher’s defense held firm for the remainder of the game. Both the second and third periods concluded with no further scoring, confirming the 5-0 shutout.
