Results: 10 Bermudian Footballers Overseas
Several Bermudian footballers featured in overseas league matches this weekend, with goalkeeper Nathan Trott recording a clean sheet and Milan Butterfield’s Halesowen Town rallying for a draw.
Nathan Trott, who entered the match ranked second in the league for shutouts, kept a clean sheet as Cardiff City defeated Mansfield Town 3-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium.
In League Two, Kane Crichlow made his first league start since August as Sutton United defeated Gateshead 4-2.
Milan Butterfield and Halesowen Town drew 4-4 against Bishop’s Stortford FC at The Grove. Trailing 4-1 in the 82nd minute, Halesowen scored three times to equalise.
Reggie Lambe and Needham Market FC defeated Alvechurch 1-0 at Bloomfields Grounds in the Southern League Premier Central.
Ayleal Dill and Southwell City FC drew 3-3 against Pinxton FC.
Willie Clemons and Leiston FC defeated Real Bedford FC 1-0 in the Southern League 1 Central Premier Division. Leiston played with 10 men from the 35th minute.
Justin Donawa and Brackley Town lost 2-0 to Woking Football Club in the Enterprise National League. Roger Lee and Heanor Town were defeated 3-1 by Skegness Town.
Keziah Martin was an unused substitute in Buxton United FC’s 2-1 loss to Merthyr Town FC. Ajani Burchall was an unused substitute for Wimborne Town in a 2-2 draw with Gloucester.
