Video: Crime Scene & Police On 2 Men Shot
Only 71 hours after after a man was shot and killed, two more people were shot tonight (June 16) in the Friswell`s Hill area, one being only 16 years old. The Police responded to reports of gunshots being fired in the area at 10:48pm, and upon police arrival it was ascertained that two men, a 16 year old Pembroke teenager and a 22 year old Pembroke man were shot. Both men were taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital and are being treated at the hospital for their injuries, which are considered non life threatening. Officers from the various unit are on scene and an investigation into the matter has commenced.

This is the second time a 16 year old has been shot this year, following an incident on March 13 at a party at the Bermuda College. Other teenagers have been shot this year including a 17 year old girl who was shot on April 5 at Dandy Town, which was only the day after an 18 year old man was shot at RAA in St George`s.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information in this incident to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-8115 or the independent 24 hour confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477. It looks like the police are doing the best they can — responding quickly and professionally, getting information out and even making two arrests after Sunday’s shooting.
Now we just need people to step up and start giving some information. Someone has to know something!
The Police can’t be every where, they need to put the protection back in the hands of the people. All of us need to step up and be ready to protect ourselves! Be proactive, the police are here to investigate after the crime has been committed. and be ready to fight for your survival! If not write your own eulogy and make your peace with GOD!
Young Black Man are the targets,
And therein lies the irony Chief.
Criminals in Bermuda have more guns than the Police.- I think that is a major Issue??!
