Giant Steps Band Bake Sale This Saturday
The Giant Steps Band will be hosting a Bake Sale this coming Saturday [Nov 10] from 8am to 3pm at the Church Street Marketplace. The band consists of local musicians Max Maybury, Dennis Fox, Quinton “Tiny” Burgess, Eugene “Stacker” Joell, Graham Maule, and Clarence “Tootsie” Bean. All funds raised at the Bake Sale will go towards the band’s entry in the 2013 Havana International Jazz Festival in Cuba.

This is the way churches and schools raised funds. Slow, but effective. I will definitely be there in support. In fact, I know a lady who makes the absolute best carrot cake. I think I will buy two, one for you to sell and one for me and I can give you the value of it.
