BELCO Cup Finals: Rangers, St David’s Advance
The BELCO Cup Semi-Finals were held on Saturday [May 18], with Southampton Rangers and St David’s Cricket Club advancing to the finals.
Southampton Rangers Win by 8 Wickets: Bailey’s Bay 87 Southampton Rangers 88/2
At Lord’s in St. David’s, the defending champions Bailey’s Bay have been bowled all out for 87. Lateef Trott was their top scorer with 19, while Dion Stovell returned bowling figures of 5-1-12-3, and Derek Brangman bowled 7-1-28-3. In reply the Southampton Rangers scored 88/2, Kwame Tucker was their top scorer with 30, while Stovell was on 25 not out when they crossed the score, Trott had bowling figures of 3-0-17-1 and Kyle Hodsoll bowled 6.1-1-29-1.
St. David’s Win by 3 Wickets: Willow Cuts 123 St. David’s Cricket Club 126/7
At the Somerset Cricket Club, St. David’s Cricket Club won the toss and sent Willow Cuts to bat, they were bowled all out for 123, Malachi Jones was the top scorer with 38, while Delyone Borden bowled 10-5-21-4 and George O’Brien Jr. had figures of 8.3-1-21-4.
St. David’s Cricket Club scored 126/7 in 42.4 overs in reply to win by 3 wickets, OJ Pitcher was the top scorer with 31, while Loren Marshall scored 20 not out. Deunte Darrell returned bowling figures of 9-1-35-3 for Willow Cuts.
