  1. Well Done says:

    Congrats to the female cyclers.

  2. Fan says:

is there somewhere i can find a complete listing of each day’s events? where and what time?

  3. Sir George Somers says:

Anyone else think its unfair that you don’t even have to be Bermudian to represent Bermuda at these island games! I know at least five Canadian expats who are representing Bermuda in certain sports, e.g. The each volleyball team? Bit unfair on the other teams! No? Or does nationality not matter in these games?

    • Dark Horse says:

You have a good point. What are the requirements to represent Bermuda?
If anyone knows the rules/regulations, please explain. I do not wish to be confrontational. I just want a better understanding.

    • Seeing Red says:

I believe the requirement might be the same as in many other sporting events. You can often represent a country in many sports if you have resided there for “X” amount of years. We see it in football, even at the world cup level and many other sports. I believe one of our own athletes went on to represent Holland after living their for years and I believe another did in in cycling.

    • Franklin jr says:

Damn expats representing their adopted (though, as we’re all aware… and as many like to point out repeatedly, TEMPORARY) home. Should all pack up and bugger off! humph!

      • Observant says:

Are you REALLY that insular? Good grief…we’re an island of 20 square miles, with a population of less than 70k…I would think that we’d be HAPPY to have people wanting to represent Bermuda (and, by the way, win medals)….

What sport are YOU competing in, by the way? You never said…

      • John says:

What a lovely supportive comment for your National Teams? Which sport are are you competing in?

  4. Confused..... says:

    WELL DONE.
