Last year’s tournament saw anglers from Bermuda, the United States and the Bahamas pitting their skills against each other and the yellowfin tuna, wahoo and blue and white marlin that roam Challenger and Argus Banks, with the winning team earning the right to go on and fish in the Offshore World Championship to be held in April 2015 in Quepos, Costa Rica.

Mr. Douglas, whose mother Diana Douglas is Bermudian, recently joined Premier Michael Dunkley, Minister of Economic Development and Education Dr. Grant Gibbons, Minister of Tourism and Transport Shawn Crockwell, and Home Affairs Minister Michael Fahy to break ground on the $85 million Ariel Sands project.
