Winning Student Map Projects Impress BTA

May 13, 2015

After finishing at the top of their class on a Bermuda Map social studies project, St. George’s Prep P3 students Ethan Vonhassel and De-Ary Thomas were rewarded with a trip to the Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA], where they presented their winning work to BTA staff during a regularly scheduled staff meeting.

In a 10-minute presentation, the students showed off their knowledge of Bermuda geography and talked about their research visit to a Bermuda attraction, with Ethan visiting Fort St. Catherine and De-Ary visiting Gates Fort.

Nice work De-Ary and Ethan. You two have more brains than those currently running tourism. Hopefully you can teach them a thing or two. Visitor numbers continue to go down while their pay continues to go up. Pathetic.
