“His career started at the BBC Natural History Unit and he worked for 12 years with David Attenborough. He is known for his unorthodox and daring style of presenting wildlife documentaries as well as for including factual knowledge in the proceedings.

“He has swum with sharks, grappled with snakes and had giant spiders crawling over his face. He is considered by many to be the Steve Irwin of Britain.”

The presentation will get underway on Thursday, November 12 at 7.30pm, with a Sushi Happy Hour to be held at Harbourfront from 5.00pm to 6.30pm, with dinner opening at 6.00pm.

Tickets cost $20 for members and $25 for non-members, and are available by calling 294-0204 or visiting BUEI’s Oceans Gift Shop.
