Police Recruits to Raise Funds for Charity

police logoThe student officers of the Police Recruit Foundation Course #73 will be conducting two charity car washes on Saturday 22nd January and Saturday 29th January 2011 respectively.

This coming Saturday [Jan 22] a car wash will be held at the Paget Shell Service Station located at the junction of Middle Road & Valley Road in Paget, between 9am and 2pm.

On Saturday, 29th January a car wash will be held at the Crawl Hill Esso Service Station located at the junction of North Shore Road & Radnor Road in Hamilton parish, between 9am and 2pm.

Cars will be washed and dried for $20, and motorcycles cost $10. Every Recruit Foundation Course raises money for the charity of their choice. This year the student officers have chosen the Bermuda Cancer & Health Centre.

All funds raised will be donated to the charity in the form of a cheque presented to a representative of the Bermuda Cancer & Health Centre during the Recruit Foundation Course #73 Passing Out Parade, scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 24th 2011.
