Hal Masters Appointed Director of Capital G
Capital G Limited announced the appointment of experienced financial services consultant, Clarendon Hugh (Hal) Masters as a Director of Capital G Bank Limited and Capital G Limited, effective immediately.
Chairman of Capital G Bank Limited, Mr. James Gibbons, said, “We are delighted that Hal has accepted our invitation to join the Board. Hal brings a significant range of experience and expertise in the corporate and financial services industry to the Board. His career experience in Bermuda and England in senior management roles in all aspects of corporate services, credit and investment management makes him a valuable addition to the Board as the Bank continues to evolve as an integrated financial services company.”
“Capital G Limited and Capital G Bank Limited now include independent directors responsible for overall governance of the Bank in the areas of investments, banking, trusts, accounting, law, risk management and business management,” added Mr. Gibbons.
Mr. Masters is currently President and a Director of Midsea Consulting Limited and is an independent consultant in the financial and corporate services industry.
He previously served as Vice President of Butterfield Bank and Managing Director of Butterfield Fund Services (Bermuda) Limited, a mutual and hedge fund administrator, now known as Butterfield Fulcrum Group Limited.
Mr. Masters will also assume the responsibility of Chairman of the Loan Committee with overall strategic Board oversight of the Bank’s loan portfolio and credit risk management.
He joins the Capital G Bank Limited and Capital G Limited Board of Directors with a 25-year career in banking and financial services industries.
