Industrial Accident: 67-Yr-Old Man Injured
Yesterday afternoon [Mar.28] a 67-year-old man was injured in an industrial accident on Woodlands Road in Pembroke.
A Police spokesman said, “Around 2:15pm on Monday, Police responded to a reported industrial accident on Woodlands Road in Pembroke. The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service also attended the scene.”
“It appears that the victim, a 67 year old Paget man, was working inside a container at a warehouse on the premises when he fell to the ground.”
“As a result he sustained a head injury and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check the Paget man was in stable condition on a general ward.”
