Teen Injures Hand in Motorcycle Accident
A 17 year old young man from Pembroke sustained a hand injury and was taken to the hospital via ambulance after being involved in a collision with another motorcycle last night [Mar.16]
A Police spokesman said, “Around 10:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road involving two motorcycles.”
“It appears that both motorcycles were traveling along North Shore Road when they collided. The pillion passenger on one of the motorcycles, a 17 year old young man from Pembroke, apparently sustained a hand injury and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.”
“The riders of the motorcycles, an 18 year old Hamilton parish man and a 24 year old Hamilton parish man, were not injured. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Inquiries are underway.”
