Sunday January 22nd: “Good News” Spotlight
News that Bermudian model Alize Bailey has been selected as a finalist for both the Top Model UK and Top Model Worldwide competitions, violinist Sally Potterton showcased Bermuda in latest music video, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda hosted their “Thank Your Mentor” event, and Dage Minors was named Northeast-10 Conference Track Athlete of Week, were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
Other good news stories included Yusef Te’Jour Riley being named SIAC Men’s Basketball Player of Week, Justin Donawa finishing first in the triple jump at an overseas meet, baseball player Adam Hall receiving the Canadian Futures Award, and Tabia Butterfield winning the Christian Thunhurst Award.
