Police: “There Is Absolutely No Truth To This”
“There is absolutely no truth” to a social media post circulating “suggesting that a body has been pulled from Warwick Pond,” the police said today.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is aware of a social media post circulating suggesting that a body has been pulled from Warwick Pond. There is absolutely no truth to this.
“The BPS advises members of the public, should you receive this message that you delete it and do not share it.
“Sharing this kind of misinformation serves only to heighten community anxiety and does nothing to assist with ongoing investigations.”
