List: PLP’s 36 Candidates For General Election
The Bermuda Progressive Labour Party [PLP] have released their 36 candidates for the upcoming election on October 1st, and have already won three seats.
There are three seats with only one candidate, all a PLP candidate, who is the incumbent: Constituency #17 Pembroke Central which is held by Jason Hayward, Constituency #16 Pembroke East Central which is held by Michael Weeks, and Constituency #26 Warwick South Central which is held by Neville Tyrrell.
A PLP spokesperson said, “Today the Bermuda Progressive Labour Party was proud to nominate our 36 candidates for the upcoming election on October 1.
“Led by the Hon. Premier, E. David Burt, our candidates submitted their nomination forms, and look forward to October 1 when they will stand for election to Bermuda’s House of Assembly.
“Our diverse team includes a record number of women and Bermudians from all walks of life. We have accountants, lawyers and finance professionals. We have trade unionists and trades people. We have healthcare professionals and educators. We have entrepreneurs and social workers. We have a diverse team of professionals ready, willing and able to serve.
